Saturday, January 5, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. to celebrate Twelfth Night. This celebration was huge in medieval times, even bigger than Christmas. The Twelfth Night marks the end to the Christmas season as we move into Epiphany, the day which the Magi presented their gifts to the Christ Child. Tradition was for one person to be crowned king and one person to be crowned queen after finding a bean or a pea in the cake, but I say, let’s all be kings and queens and eat cake. Food, drink, and friends are the center of the celebration. So, let us celebrate together.
